Coronas Heartbreak aka Player

2018 AQHA Gelding Own son of “Heart of the Cartel” PAID IN TO FUTURE FORTUNES 16.2 hands and as wide as he is tall.

Runs consistent 2D-3D times in tough central Oklahoma competition. Has clocked a few 1D times sporadically. Runs inside and outside. Big, strong, free runner to the first with a huge motor, hustle and have fun after that. He is extremely broke, rides around with a nice handle, and a big stop. Forward moving and always looking for a job. Keep him in shape and go run type. Can be a little quirky at times but all manageable. Runs on lasix. (He is not a confirmed bleeder. I run all of my personal horses on lasix.) I run him on 1/2cc of guanabenz. Also personal preference. Does require maintenance. I inject hocks, stifles, and the left hind foot. *He wears a bar shoe on the left hind!* (An old scar affects the heel of his foot and this was the recommended shoeing protocol by Josh Harvey.)

Was just seen by Outlaw Equine 4/25/26 for a routine lameness and maintenance injections! He is in shape and ready to be hauled. Pasture photos are from 5/18/26.

He fights the gate off and on. Some days he walks in flat footed with zero care in the world and some days he plants his feet and stalls. He is by NO MEANS dangerous at the alley. He will eventually go with a buddy or you can back him in. Pop from an over under will also do the trick on occasion. (NO buck, rear, or spinning out from under you.)

Player is for sale because I am just coming back to riding/competing after an injury which inhibits my riding ability and has caused some anxiety in the saddle. It is doing him no favors. He needs a steady hand and that currently isn’t me.

I have owned this horse for 6 years. He has not been passed around or had his legs hauled off. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. My loss is going to be someone’s gain. This is a quality horse with a bright future. He is extremely fun to run. Same trip every time.

Reasonable offers will be considered for a quick uncomplicated sale.
